The next TBC4H2 project meeting took place at MINES Paris – PSL University in France, bringing together project partners to review progress, coordinate ongoing activities, and strengthen collaboration across the consortium.

The first day of the meeting was dedicated to project activities. Partners presented the latest research results, discussed the current status of the work packages, coordinated the next steps of the project, and exchanged ideas to ensure the successful implementation of upcoming tasks. The programme also included a visit to the university’s research laboratories, where participants explored the advanced facilities supporting cutting-edge research.

The second day featured a workshop hosted at MINES Paris – PSL University for representatives of the aerospace and energy industries. The event brought together researchers and industry stakeholders, providing a platform to present the project’s objectives and achievements, discuss current technological challenges, and exchange perspectives on future applications and collaboration opportunities. The workshop fostered valuable dialogue between academia and industry, reinforcing the project’s commitment to addressing real-world industrial needs.

The latest TBC4H2 project meeting was hosted by Fraunhofer IWS in Dresden, Germany, bringing together project partners to review progress, discuss ongoing research activities, and plan the next stages of the project.

The meeting included a scientific seminar, where participants presented recent research results and exchanged insights on the latest developments within the project. Attendees also had the opportunity to visit Fraunhofer IWS’s state-of-the-art research laboratories, gaining first-hand experience of the institute’s advanced research infrastructure and innovative technologies.

The meeting provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among research teams from different countries. Such face-to-face discussions are essential for strengthening international cooperation, fostering new ideas, and ensuring the successful implementation of the TBC4H2 project.

We had a productive project meeting!

The TBC4H2 project entitled „Thermal Barrier Coatings for greener heat-to-power applications: understanding limits of operation under hydrogen combustion and sustainable outlook” seems to be entering to next stage!

The participants also had laboratory tours, including the Surface Engineering Laboratory of the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice and Łukasiewicz – GIT in Gliwice.
